Shipping and Handling

Our Packing & Our Guarantee

The Plumeria People have been shipping fine Plumeria and other quality plants for many years; and we will continue this fine tradition. We are growers and lovers of plants and will gladly share our expertise and experiences with you. We only ship quality plants that will arrive in good condition ready to plant or propagate. In addition, we will make every effort to replace any plant or resolve any problem about your shipment if it arrives in a damaged or unsatisfactory condition AND if you report it within 5 days of receipt. Our plants are generally sent bare root wrapped in sphagnum moss, and well packed, by Priority Mail unless you request a specific method of shipment. An invoice/packing list will be included to verify the contents of each shipment. Every effort will be made to ship within one to three weeks after receiving your order.

Timetable

We ship rooted and unrooted cuttings and usually begin shipping sometime in March and continue through to early winter, depending on weather conditions. Of course, fertilizers, books, etc. may be shipped year round. New stocks of rooted cuttings generally will not be ready to ship until late spring or early summer.

Ordering and Substitutions

Orders may be sent by phone, email, fax, or mail. Please identify the items you order by the stock number shown with each item in the catalog. While every effort is made to fill your order as requested, unforeseen popularity of some items may make immediate shipment difficult. So please list alternate items or request that no substitutions are made. Our minimum order is $25.00 plus shipping charges.

If any item(s) ordered are not available and result in the shipment being less than 25.00, please advise one of the following:

1. Please substitute for unavailable item(s).

2. Please hold order until short items become available.

3. Please cancel order and issue credit

Texas residents: Please add 8-1/4% sales tax.

Shipping charges for domestic shipments: We ship by Priority Mail, unless otherwise specified. Add $7.00 for the first plant and $1.00 for each additional plant. Foreign orders will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Please Note: Cancelled or returned orders may be subject to a 15% administrative/restocking fee.

Payment

Payment by money order, check, or credit card, payable to The Plumeria People, must accompany the order. If paying by credit card, please provide the necessary information (i.e. card number, name on card, and expiration date, and sign the order form clearly). Accounts will only be charged at time of shipment.
